Terms of use
In short
- This site and the First Light guide give general information. They are not a diagnosis, medical advice or an emergency service.
- If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.
- Sending the callback form does not make you a patient. Care starts only after an intake with our team.
- You agree we may call or text you about your request. You can tell us to stop at any time.
Using this site
These terms apply to this website, run by Nationwide IOP Center [VERIFY: full legal entity name and type, e.g. LLC or Inc.]. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site, and call us instead.
Not for emergencies
We are an outpatient program, not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) at any time. Do not use our form to ask for urgent help.
Information, not medical advice
The content on this site is general information about our program and mental health care. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and it does not replace a conversation with a licensed professional. Using this site or contacting us does not create a clinician-patient relationship. That starts only after an intake assessment, when our team agrees with you that our program fits.
The First Light guide
First Light asks a few questions and shows a likely path, such as in-person or online care. It is not a screening tool or a diagnosis. Your answers stay in your browser until you choose to send the callback form. Our care coordinator confirms what fits in a short call.
Calls and texts
When you send the callback form and check the consent box, you agree that we may call or text the number you gave about your request, including with automated tools. Message and data rates may apply. Agreeing is not a condition of care. To stop texts, reply STOP. To stop calls, tell us on the phone or call (747) 599-0059. Please give only a number that you are allowed to use.
Insurance information
What we say about insurance is general. Coverage depends on your plan. A benefits check is an estimate based on what your plan tells us, not a promise of payment. Your plan decides what it pays.
Adults only
Our program is for adults 18 and over. You must be 18 or older to send the callback form for yourself.
Acceptable use
Please don't misuse the site: no false requests, no requests in someone else's name without their permission, no attempts to break, overload or scrape it, and nothing unlawful.
Our content
The text, photos, video and design on this site belong to us or the people who licensed them to us. You may view and share links to the site for personal use, but please don't copy or reuse the content without permission.
Links to other sites
We link to some outside sites, such as the 988 Lifeline and Google Maps. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
No warranties
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is". We can't promise it will always be error-free or online, to the extent the law allows.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about the site will be handled in the courts of Los Angeles County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be on this page with a new effective date.
